Paintings by Ann Jenkins

The work of Minnesota painter, Ann Jenkins, was the first to grace our walls. We're happy to add a number of new pieces to that original show.

She says of her work: "I am interested in the abstract rendering of landscape. My paintings are concerned with the arrangement of fields of color. I believe that color is a medium which can convey the most subtle and complex feelings, and can give the viewer a sense of a particular place and time that goes beyond a literal visual accounting of that place. I work in oil, acrylic, pastel, and monotype."
